Understanding the Context
I’ve been really enjoying the Kia Connect features, not $200/year enjoying, but enjoying, nonetheless. That being said, my free 1 year sub expires on March 31 and I had heard that some folks get emails or something from Kia offering discounted subs, but, as of today I’ve seen nothing... Kia is smart, they make the throttle very touchy so you want to buy the car when you test drive it, and so it doesn't feel like the engine is struggling to move the SUV weight, that's fine. But if you want good mpg you have to pretend there is an egg in between your foot and the pedal.

Then downhill lift off the foot to activate EV mode. Does Kia inform owners when there are updates to the software/ firmware on the vehicle? And if they don't, how do you know if anything's available? I have a 2017 Kia Sorento that is the AWD with the 3.3L V6 GDI engine. I recently had an engine failure that it appears many others with 2016 Sorentos are also experiencing.
