I also don't have to worry about banging my tubes on the LPVO or the ACOG with the Eotech. Because of the night hunting, thermal and nods it is really hard to beat the Eotech. With the EoTech you could have your 1x and the 3-9x at 6x and really be able to hit 10 yards to 200+ easily without touching a thing. The EoTech is naturally going to have more technical issues than an ACOG because it's a more complex design. Still, the EoTech is a good reflexive shooting tool. I'd have both, in all honesty. EoTech for CQB and room-clearing and ACOG for patrolling.

In A-stan, no question I'd rather have an ACOG than an EoTech. Re: pros/cons eotech on coyote rig? If you have Flip up iron sights installed along with the Eo-Tech, if the batteries die, you are still good to go. I have an EO-Tech on my 6.5 Grendel, and its spot on out to 300 yards. Put NV behind it and its a great setup for night hunting. My M4 has an EO-Teck 3-2 and a 4X magnifier.
