We are currently working on cutting over an existing Lenel system to Genetec. They are utilizing MR-1502, MR52, and MR16IN boards. Can I expect all boards to work fine withing Genetec, or will I run into fun firmware issues, incompatibility, or oddly labelled Mercury equipment that will not be compatible?

Both Software House and Lenel are Access-centric incumbents, where Genetec originates from the video side. The scope of access experience the typical Genetec reseller and the SH/Lenel reseller could be very different. Lenel is a big boy in the Access Control arena, but not so much in the Video Management arena. My organization wants to transition to a robust VMS.
